Abslolutely breath taking views from lovely rooms in this lovingly restored grand Georgian House. Everything has been thought of by the host to so that the rooms and fabulous bathrooms really do give you a luxurious stay. The breakfast is superb. This is my destination of choice when working in the Exeter area and is second to none!
We had a fabulous stay at Syon House. Beautiful room with beautiful views, gorgeous breakfasts and Claire was the ultimate hostess - even giving us a lift to Bicton Arena where we were competing! The house is warm and homely whilst remaining elegant and tastefully appointed. I really can't fault and just want to thank Claire and her staff for making us so welcome. Really looking forward to going back!

A last minute booking to Syon house turned out to be the best place we have ever stayed. Friendly and welcoming housekeeper, Yola, was lovely and couldn't do enough for us. Owner of the house was also very friendly and warm- made us feel most welcome. Breakfast was brilliant and view from room was outstanding. We loved it so much we ended up staying an extra night and will definitely be returning! Highly recommend!
We spent a great night at Syon House, it was like being lord of the manor.We only booked a couple of hours before we arrived but Clare was unfazed and charming. She suggested an excellent pub for a meal which was exactly what we needed.Breakfast lasted for a couple of hours with Clare chatting as if we were visiting a friends house for the weekend.Thanks Clare we will be back!
