Outdoor beach cafe on Budleigh Salterton beach. There are tables and chairs available. There are public toilets nearby. We had been on a walk up the Otter Estuary and had parked on the Lime Kiln car park, so this was the perfect place to get a late lunch of freshly-made sandwiches. We were pleased to see that the plates and cups (including the "plastic" lids) were all clearly marked as fully compostable. The sandwiches were tasty and good value. Rounded the meal off nicely with a couple of ice creams.
Lovely place to have something to eat. People who run it are delightful. We like to get there in the morning have breakfast, then walk along the beach. Bacon and Sausage baps are sublime.
Lovely place by the beach to have lunch. Delicious crab sandwiches and homemade cakes
Came down here on a rainy day and was pleasantly surprised to find them open. Had a delicious crab sandwich and a coffee. Lovely little place and friendly service too.
Excellent coffee, ice cream and biscotti. It is justifiably popular so be prepared to queue. And don't forget to have enough cash as cards are not accepted.
