Belter of a cod and chips, enjoyed a chinwag with the boss behind the counter about which fish I wanted. Settled on monster cod - recommended. Welcome change from oily fish and chips Id had the week before.
Very friendly and most importantly smashing food. Great too for a gluten free option which was a Godsend. Thoroughly recommend.
The real deal! Friendly service and great food. Very generous portions at a reasonable price. After the first bite, I understand why there is a line outside the takeaway every time I walk by this place. Pick up a cold beer on your way to the beach and enjoy!
One of the good fish and chip shops. Staff very friendly and accommodating to special requests. Behind served with a smile is always appreciated. The fish was cooked nicely with lovely crunchy batter. The kids meal was huge, it feeds a grown up child easily. Highly recommended.
Other than the very tight squeeze when there's a queue, this was a good chippie. The chips were lovely and the fish beautiful. Good portions too. A bit expensive I thought but seemingly quite normal for the area. We'll be going again before our week in Budleigh Salterton comes to an end!
