Disappointing. Overpriced and not convinced the food was prepared freshly as stated. Had scallops and antipasto for starters. To be fair the scallops were delicious and nicely cooked. The antipasto was tasty but no culinary expertise required.Gluten free carbonara was heavy and bland. Risotto with sea food was very disappointing. Rice was not soft and creamy, the sauce was watery and overall too salty for my taste. Pheasant( was it pheasant or chicken) bland with a sauce that tasted out of a packet and again too salty. Had to ask three times for some water and four times for the bill. Given it was a late lunch on a Sunday with only maybe 4 or 5 tables full this was surprising.Don't think we'll be back. Bowmers was better.
Really good food. At last a good Italian restaurant in Budleigh. Service very slow, only one waiter who did his best. Probably kitchen slow as the food does seem freshly prepared.
Excellent choice on menu. Well presented food and good sized portions. Excellent cheesecake.

Ate here for the first time for a birthday dinner, booked last minute on a sat night and squeezed us in! Amazing service and amazing food, cant fault either! All 8 of us cant wait to visit again! Thank you :)
